One of Asia’s biggest summer parties is coming to Calgary this August.
Described as a “hip, lively restaurant…[with] innovative Asian cuisine inspired by Asian flavours,” Mister Chen’s Asian Brassiere will be hosting a Full Moon Party on August 17.
The Full Moon Party is held once a month on the Thai island of Kho Phangan. According to the party’s official website, it’s said that tourists found that the most beautiful moon could be seen on the island and held a party in celebration of it.
The owner and executive chef of Mister Chen’s, Shaun Desaulniers, said in a release that he hopes to bring the Calgary community to Asia through the food and experience “without having to book a flight.”
“At Mister Chen’s, we’re all about bringing together Asian food, fun, flavour — and to vibe hard,” Desaulniers said in the release.
