Between April Fools pranks and Easter events alone – there’s no shortage of fun things to do this month in Calgary. However, having fun while staying penny-wise is a whole other thing.

CORE Easter

Head over to the CORE this month and hunt out some brightly coloured easter eggs. Just be sure to keep an eye on Twitter and Instagram for clues on where to find the eggs. Prizes include some awesome retailer vouchers!

Calgary Sketch Club Art Exhibition and Sale

In the mood to check out some great art made by local artists? Head over to The Calgary Sketch Club Art Exhibition and you won’t be disappointed. Water colour, pastel, acrylic, oil and a lot of other artwork will be featured.

Aggie Days

Venture over to the grounds for a day of entertainment and fun. On Saturday, watch impressive, cute, and highly trained dogs herd sheep into a pen by the sound of a whistle. On Sunday, watch the Calgary Stampede Spring Extreme Cowboy Race.

Art of Our Times / Lunch Tour

Law Day

Fritz Lang’s Metropolis

Gather with your friends and family at Contemporary Calgary to enjoy a night out learning about contemporary art, architecture and design. A combination of film screenings, cocktails, local guest speakers, music, coffee, and food is what you’re in for. Fritz Lang’s Metropolis will be shown in the Top Gallery for the inaugural Late Night Thursday.
