NHL insider Frank Seravalli is coming back to Canadian television
Frank Seravalli has a new gig.
The 38-year-old NHL insider will be back on Canadian television more regularly for this upcoming season, announcing on Friday that he has joined Sportsnet as a contributor.
“I’m thrilled to join Sportsnet as a contributor,” Seravalli said via social media. “I’ll be doing a little bit of everything — writing, radio, and TV — and can’t wait to get started.”
Seravalli also revealed that the podcast he hosts with John Buccigross, Frankly Hockey, will simulcast daily on Sportsnet television and Sportsnet 590 The Fan radio in Toronto.

Hockey fans in Canada first got to know Seravalli when he became an NHL insider with TSN in 2015, leaving his job as a sports writer at the Philadelphia Daily News. He spent six years at TSN before leaving for a job at Daily Faceoff in 2021.
Seravalli adds Sportsnet to his list of current employers, which also includes Victory+ and Prime Video, where he contributes to each as a hockey insider.
