New restaurant and cafe concept opens at an iconic Calgary landmark

After being teased this summer, a new restaurant concept has just opened at one of Calgary’s major landmarks.
Foxtrot has opened its doors, right in the heart of the Spruce Meadows grounds. Taking its name from an unexpected guest, a fox spotted crossing the International Ring, the spot aims to evoke the same grace and quiet confidence.
“At Foxtrot, we offer a refined, day-to-night dining experience that reflects the world-class standards of Spruce Meadows while remaining rooted in warmth, approachability, and natureās quiet beauty,” the restaurant’s website reads.

The spot offers a large menu of charcoal-grilled dishes, hand-crafted cocktails and a curated wine list, all within a cozy and welcoming environment.
Signature dishes include wood-fired calamari, bison ragu pappardelle, king salmon and rotisserie chicken with a soy-butter glaze.
Alongside the restaurant, Cafe Foxtrot, an all-day concept, has also opened. The laid-back spot offers a sanctuary to pick up a coffee or indulge in a pastry and sandwich.

The cafe is home to a dog-friendly patio, perfect for those looking to relax in the sun or grab a coffee before wandering around the grounds.
