You can fly from Calgary to Costa Rica for under $400 roundtrip
If you’ve got $400 and a little patience, we may just have the perfect vacation for you.
Flight deal-finding website YYC Deals just dug up this steal of a deal from Calgary to Costa Rica for just $385 roundtrip.
There are two small catches, however.
The flights can only be found for specific days in March 2019…. which, yeah, that’s a long time to wait, but March is also one of the perfect months to escape a harsh Calgary winter.
The second catch is that it includes a rather lengthy layover both ways, but given how the quickest flight showing for the same dates is at a bank-breaking $2,400, we’d suggest spending the seven or so hours in layover, thank you very much.

The flights can be found by heading over to Momondo.ca, punching in Calgary International Airport to Liberia, Costa Rica, and ensuring that you’re searching for either March 3 to 11, March 4 to 11, or March 5 to 11, as specified by YYC Deals.
The search should result in a few choices ranging from $385 to $400.
You can also catch a flight out to San Jose, Costa Rica for $25 more, and a somewhat longer layover.
