Floating lanterns coming to Olympic Plaza this summer

The fifth annual ‘Floating Lantern Peace Ceremony’ will take place by the pool at Olympic Plaza in downtown this August.
The event page says the ceremony is to remember victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings.
“Everybody is invited. Hundreds of beautiful lanterns will be released as people think of their own loved ones and the hundreds of thousands affected by the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki,” reads the page.
Lanterns will be available for rent at the event.
