That trip to Vancouver just got a little more affordable.
WestJet recently announced that they’re taking 23% off all base fares as a birthday celebration (the company just turned 23-years-old), which has significantly reduced the cost of flights between Calgary and Vancouver.

There is a slight catch, however, as the birthday celebration will only be lasting for the one day — meaning that you have until 11:59 pm on Thursday, February 28 to get those trips booked.
Just head over to WestJet’s website, punch in the coupon code U77XF34, and search for flights from Calgary out to Vancouver — you should find one-way trips starting at just $104, and roundtrips going for as low as $182 (the flights back are even cheaper!).
All options between the two hubs are non-stop, and given the deal, are arguably cheaper than driving… depending on how much of a gas guzzler your vehicle is.
It’ll take one hour and 22 minutes from take-off in YYC to landing at YVR, and seeing as you’re gaining an hour thanks to the change in time zone, it’s really just 22 minutes out of your day.
So, who’s down for a trip out to the West Coast?
