The Flames wrangled up Dougie Hamilton, Brandon Bollig, Sam Bennett, and Markus Granlund for… Well, it was something. Watch for yourself:
Being a terrible pitchman is somewhat of an NHL player tradition of sorts, so we shouldn’t be surprised by the acting. But the storyline could have been improved, and most certainly we could have done without the blatant advertising at the end.
Without a doubt, the best acting in the clip was by Harvey the Hound as “Santa Harv”. He played his part to perfection.
Less terrible than the Christmas sweater video, was the Christmas sweater outtakes video. People love outtakes (America’s Funniest Home Videos proved that a long time ago).
Alright Flames. You have a whole year to brush up on your acting/comedy/video production. Let’s see what you come up with next year.
