A pair of reports – one from Sportsnet’s Eric Francis, the other from Flames radio host Pat Steinberg – indicate that the Flames have something special planned for Iginla for a March 2nd game against the Minnesota Wild.
Flames to make special announcement tomorrow regarding Mar. 2 game. Quite likely that will be the night they honour Jarome Iginla.

Calgary has an announcement coming tomorrow regarding March 2nd game against Minnesota.
Believe it’ll be Jarome Iginla jersey retirement. #Flames

Steinberg reports that the team will retire Iginla’s No. 12 jersey, which is a tribute fitting for a Flames legend.
The all-time franchise leader in games played (1219), goals (525), and points (1095), Iginla was the face of the Flames for more than a decade.
