It’s time to travel back in time — and don’t worry, you won’t need a hot tub.
Fernie is hosting a Kokanee Retro Weekend this Saturday, March 30, inviting skiers and snowboarders alike out to the mountain in their freshest 70s and 80s threads.

One-piece ski suits, spandex, neon colours, and headbands are all welcome for the fun, which will feature DJs blasting throwback tunes and Kokanee beer on tap.
Beer gardens are open from 1 to 6 pm, plaza entertainment will run from 3 to 6 pm, and the entire night will end off with a Hot Tub Time Machine Party at The Griz Bar from 9 pm to midnight.
Any Calgarians that are planning to make the three-hour drive out to Fernie for the festivities should keep in mind that it is BC, so the after-hours party at Griz Bar will only be available for those who are 19 and older.
Cover for the party and plaza events is free, though a ticket up the slopes will cost adults $110 for the full day.
