A shooting in Sunalta took the life of one man last night

One man was shot dead in Calgary last night.

A release from the Calgary Police Service states that the fatal shooting occurred at around 1:15 am on the 1600 block of 15th Street SW in Calgary’s Sunalta neighbourhood.

Police responded after multiple people reported hearing gunshots, and a man was found at the scene with life threatening injuries.

The man was transported to hospital, where he ultimately died.

As an autopsy has yet been completed, the identity of the victim cannot be released.
