Iconic Alberta spot named one of the best resorts in North America

Conde Nast Traveller just released its 2025 Readerās Choice Awards, and one of Albertaās most iconic destinations has earned a spot on the list.
The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was named one of the best resorts in the world, securing its place among some of the most luxurious stays across North America.
The rankings are based on percentages given for overall average levels of satisfaction.Ā
In the United States of America and Canada category, Fairmont Banff Springs landed in ninth place, with a score of 96.46. It was one of two Canadian locations that made the cut, the other being Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino, B.C., which earned the third spot on the list with a score of 99.08.

Topping this year’s list was the Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Jackson Hole, WY., with a score of 99.50, followed by Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, MT., which earned a score of 99.09
The Fairmont Banff Springs is well-known for its luxury, history, and stunning mountain views. Nestled in the heart of Banff National Park, the resort offers a blend of old charm and world-class amenities, making it a spectacular getaway for visitors.
Just last month, the hotel found itself on the Conde Nast Traveller list of top haunted hotels in the world.Ā
