
Edmontonians just up to a chilly surprise this morning, as parts of the city were hit with an unseasonable snowfall.
Snow in spring isn’t exactly rare for Albertans, and while some took to social media to complain about their weather woes, others were considering it a rite of passage for living in YEG.

Seeing as the first official day of summer is June 20, this snowfall comes less than one month until (what’s supposed to be) the sunniest and warmest season of the year.
Though anyone who has spent enough time in Edmonton can tell you that a summer snowfall isn’t completely off the table, either!
