The ultimate drag brunch is happening in Calgary next month
We thought we loved brunch, but then we heard about Drags Benny, and it’s officially taking our affections for this mid-morning meal up a notch.
This inaugural event is happing in Calgary’s Fairmont Palliser Hotel on June 24, and it’s a celebration of all things drag and all things brunch.

The Palliser’s Crystal Ballroom will be seriously bumping come June 24, where Ru Paul’s Drag Race Star and Chicago native Laila McQueen will be headlining this a grand drag brunch event in support of Calgary Pride.
The three-course brunch celebration kicks off at 11:30 am, and from there, attendees can enjoy entertainment from McQueen along with local talents Argentina Hailey and Perla Coddington, as well as drag king Duke Carson, who recently took the top spot at Alberta’s Next Drag Superstar competition.
Tickets to this event also come with a welcome cocktail – as if we needed another reason to get excited about brunch.
