Global bubble tea chain quietly closes its remaining Calgary locations
Don’t Yell At Me, a well-known bubble tea spot, appears to have quietly closed its doors in Calgary.
Both its Crowfoot Crossing and CF Market Mall locations are now listed as permanently closed on Google, and its Alberta-specific Instagram account appears to have been removed.
The bubble tea shop also previously had a location on 17th Avenue, which closed some time ago, with the space becoming Koko Japanese Eatery.
First opening in Taiwan in 2017, Don’t Yell At Me has expanded around the world over the years, with locations across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
The spot is known for its bubble tea and milk tea, made using premium tea leaves from Taiwan, as well as hand-ground coffee.
Don’t Yell At Me hasn’t left Canada entirely, with a location sticking around in Ontario.
