Here's where you can go for a starlit dogsled ride in Alberta this winter

Alberta is a gorgeous province, but it really comes alive at night.
Just imagine being out in the crisp, cool Rocky Mountain air, looking up at the stars, and taking a trip along the snowy landscape thanks to a team of adorable sled dogs.

That dream can actually become a reality, thanks to Mad Dogs & Englishmen Sled Dog Expeditions, which is offering a two-hour Dogsled Under the Stars tour at Kananaskis’ Spray Lakes.

The tours start at around 6 pm, ensuring that you’ll get the full experience of a Rocky Mountain evening while you travel under the power of a team of doggos (yes, you’ll be allowed to pet them).
The Dogsled Under the Stars tours only run for three evening of each month — they’re usually around the full moon to allow for maximum moonlight — and include an orientation, 1 1/4 hours of sledding, multiple photo stops, and a finale that includes a warming tent, fire, hot chocolate, and homebaked cookies.

Prices are per sled, and range from $530 to $675 — which equals out to around $225 to $265 per person.
The tours are, naturally, weather dependent, and the website states that they are not suitable for children under the age of 10.
So, who’s game for a ride?
