Wow indeed.
Both Earth Day and 4/20 came and went this past weekend, but there was another, simpler event in Calgary that may have been even more exciting.

On Saturday, April 21, Calgary had its first annual (well, we’re optimistically hoping it will be annual) We All Stare At The Calgary Tower and Say Wow Like Owen Wilson Event.
The Calgary Tower may not have had the more than 5,000 Facebook members who RSVP’d as interested in attending actually show up, nor the full 1,800 that said that they were going to attend, but tentative counts place the actual attendance at well over 100 people, according to the event’s Facebook page.
Signs were held, Owen Wilson masks were worn, and people were officially wowed by the sheer height and beauty of Calgary’s most iconic landmark.
A few attendees even captured some photos and videos of the festivities, for those of us who didn’t make it out to the event.
And, wow! They’re actually pretty good.
