
Update: A 10:18 pm update from Alberta RCMP states that the suspect is still at large.
The chaos at CrossIron Mills is finally over.
A 9:30 pm tweet from Alberta RCMP states that “the incident at Cross Iron Mills has been resolved,” and that those who had been sheltering in place are now free to leave the mall.
As stated by the Calgary Police Service in an earlier tweet, Alberta RCMP believes this to have been a targeted attack, and that there is no ongoing danger to the public.

The most recent update from the Calgary Police Service states that one man was injured as a result of the targeted attack in a tweet at 9:05 pm, at which time the suspect had still been at large.
.@RCMPAlberta confirm one male injured and suspect is at large. There are no additional reports of injuries @Crossiron_mills. People have been asked to “shelter in place.” Police are currently going store to store to ensure safety, and ask for your patience at this time. #yyc

There has been no official word yet on if an arrest has been made or on the condition of the suspect.
