The Calgary Police Service is investigating two seemingly unrelated suspicious deaths.

Both occurred on Monday morning around 9 am, and both were located in Northeast Calgary.

The first occurred just before 9 am on April 27, according to a CPS release, when police were called to a residence on the 600 block of Marian Crescent NE on reports of a woman in medical distress.

The woman was declared dead at the scene when emergency crews arrived, though they also found a man in medical distress who was transported to hospital in serious condition.

The second death saw police called to the 3500 block of 32nd Avenue NE at around 9:15 am that same day on reports of a man in medical distress. He too was pronounced deceased on scene.

It is noted that the two deaths are not believed to be in relation to one another.

Anyone with information on either of these incidents is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service at their non-emergency line of 403-266-1234.

Tips can also be left anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or through their website.
