Colder weather coming to Calgary

Grab your thermals and get ready for some colder weather visiting Calgary for the rest of the week.

From today, Wednesday, January 6, we are expecting a low of -14°C and a high of -12°C with a chance of flurries in the evening, according to Environment Canada. Then on Thursday, we can expect to see some periods of snow, around 2 centimetres, with a high of -10°C to a low of -15°C. After Thursday snow is not predicted for the rest of the week.

The coldest point is expected to come by Friday with a high of -13°C to a low of -19°C in the evening and will be clear and sunny.

Clear and sunny weather will continue over the weekend with it warming up by Sunday to a high of zero and low of -6°C.
