You will be responsible for planning and instruction of specialized recreational martial arts programs requiring the development of skill base and knowledge in the activity area.

Calgary Police Service – Manager, Human Resources Information Management Systems (HRIS) Unit

Salary: $96,522 to $147,834 per year

Some details about this job: The HRIS unit manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Human Resources Information System (Peoplesoft) and manages a dual-function unit that includes data specialists, as well as the HRIS Workforce Planning Analyst function. The unit plays a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to promote data integrity and delivery, as well as an enterprise systems approach to information management and technology within the Calgary Police Service (CPS).

Manager, Water Treatment

Salary: $131,575 to $209,747 per year

Some details about this job: As the manager of water treatment reporting to the deputy director of water services, you will provide strategic leadership, drive change and provide operational oversight for the Water Treatment Division. You will be responsible for regulatory compliance, financial management, and ensuring the delivery of clean, safe drinking water to Calgarians and regional customers. As a key member of the Water Services Management Team, you will support the overall business unit priorities while fostering a high-performing, collaborative, customer-focused organization.

Skateboard or Inline Instructor

Salary: $19.35 to $24.44 per hour

Some details about this job: As a skateboard or inline instructor, you will be responsible for ensuring public use of the skate park program space in a safe manner and assisting with customer questions and concerns. Primary duties include leading, planning, and instructing beginner and intermediate skateboarding, scootering, or rollerblading skills; supervising and securing the use of the skatepark; and leading, planning, and instructing in recreational programs to help participants develop their skill base and knowledge in this area.

Finance Lawyer

Salary: $105,830 to $190,531 per year

Some details about this job: The City is looking for a senior lawyer with expertise in Finance and Corporate/Commercial law practice areas. As a lawyer with the City, you will have a significant degree of responsibility and autonomy within a team-oriented environment. Primary duties include having to provide timely legal services, drafting and advising, working collaboratively with other members of Legal Services to ensure a consistent approach to matters, and working directly with members of all Business Units across the Corporation.

Maintenance Engineer

Salary: $93,651 to $141,404 per year

Some details about this job: As a maintenance engineer, you will plan, coordinate, and schedule major asset maintenance and rehabilitation activities in order to support the delivery of reliable Wastewater Treatment Plant operations. Primary duties in the role include having to manage wastewater capital maintenance projects from concept to completion for end-of-life asset replacements. This may include managing consultants and contractors, and preparing procurement documentation for consultants, contractors, and maintenance service providers.

Skate/Hockey Instructor Level 1 or 2, On-Call

Some details about this job: As a skate or hockey instructor, you will work as part of an energetic and passionate team to plan, instruct and lead skating programs, including learn to skate and hockey. Primary duties include having to teach specific skills to participants through progressive instruction, adhering to standard curriculum and completing participant progress cards, developing lesson plans and resources for programs, providing safety expertise, and ensuring the well-being of participants.
