AVEC Bistro is toasting $5 glasses of bubbly for the month of August

“Over the past five years we have seen tremendous support from Calgary, including the culinary community,” said owner Jackie Cooke in a release. “We want to celebrate with our community and give back, and what better way than to drink a glass of bubbly together.”

The restaurant opened in December 2016 in Central Memorial Park, transforming the former Boxwood space into a family-style dining experience.

The intimate restaurant seats up to 66 people and is open for lunch Monday to Friday and dinner six nights a week.
