Someone used an arrow to shoot and kill a cat in Hinton, Alberta

A cat in Hinton, Alberta has lost its ninth life.

According to a release from Hinton RCMP, a dead cat was found on a Hinton resident’s driveway at around 4 pm on Wednesday, November 28.

The cat had been punctured by an arrow and had “succumbed to its injuries,” the release states.

The incident occurred in the Hillcrest Estates area, and police believe that it may have taken place on Tuesday night sometime between 10:30 pm and midnight due to what they have been told by witnesses.

Police are now hoping to find the person responsible for shooting and killing the cat with an arrow, and are asking anyone who may have information to reach out to them.

A reward of up to $2,000 could be given out if information leads to an arrest.
