Calgary just saw an absolutely amazing sunrise this morning (PHOTOS)

What a way to start the week.

Calgary was blessed with some seriously stunning colours this morning as the early am sunshine mixed with the clouds to create a wide variety of shades.

From purple to orange to red, those who woke up early enough would have seen the sky light up with the dawn in ways seldom seen.

…And for those of us who didn’t happen to wake up at 6 am sharp, well, a few of those early birds were thoughtful enough to snap some photos and share them on Instagram so that the rest of us could see what we were missing.
