Balzac McDonald's closes after employee tests positive for coronavirus

McDonald’s Canada has announced that an employee at a Balzac restaurant near popular mall CrossIron Mills has tested positive for COVID-19.

On August 16, a staff member working at the McDonald’s located at 293097 Crossiron Lane, reported they had tested positive for the coronavirus.

The employee’s last shift was reportedly on August 13 from 8 am to 4 pm.

This location has now been shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation.

All staff members who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

McDonald’s Canada is asking for any guests who may have visited the restaurant on August 13 to take directions from the experts at Alberta Health Services.
