The Calgary Zoo is hosting a huge escape experience this Halloween

Things are about to get spooky in Calgary.

With October right around the corner, summer is officially out and Halloween excitement is in, nowhere moreso than at the Calgary Zoo.

The zoo has announced their plans to host another huge escape experience at the end of next month to celebrate the spookiest of seasons, with two dates available for Locked Zoo: Tooth and Claw.

The evening will find teams of players exploring the zoo at night to solve puzzles and escape the spooky (but not scary) situation.

The zoo’s website states that first entry will be at 5 pm, with entries staggered by 30 minutes to allow for physical distancing.

Participants will be able to pre-purchase Spooktacular dinner boxes as well as alcoholic beverages on site.

The Locked Zoo event will be adults only (18+), so make sure to schedule in that babysitter for either Thursday, October 29 or Friday, October 30.

Tickets go for $45 (or $59 with a dinner box) and are expected to go on sale soon.

Teams can range from two to six people, bookings must include the team name, and all team members must arrive at the same time to start the game.

Locked Zoo: Tooth and Claw
