If this doesn’t have you swelling with Calgarian pride, we don’t know what will.

A beautifully simple video was recently published on YouTube by photographer Jeff Whyte, wherein he mixes together multiple timelapse shots of a winter-time Calgary.

With a hypnotic piano melody playing in the background, Whyte captures the city’s chinooks, sunsets, sunrises, traffic, C-Trains, and more ā€“ all in less than three minutes.

Many iconic Calgary landmarks make an appearance, including the Peace Bridge, the Calgary Tower, Analog Coffee, and the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Whyte weaves the collection of shots together in a way that makes it appear like you’d just experienced an entire day from the best vantages that the city has to offer.

Whyte’s photography work can be found at his blog, The Holiday Lens, and his YouTube channel features his photography of places like Elbow Falls and Lake Minnewanka.
