Looks like winter isn’t quite done with us yet, YYC.

According to The Weather Network, Calgary is expected to be on the chilly side this weekend, with low temperatures and flurries in the forecast.

It’s 4ÂșC in the city right now, feeling more like 2ÂșC. Calgary will see a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 11ÂșC on Friday afternoon before the temperature drops over the weekend.

Friday night will bring a low of -7ÂșC, rising to 0ÂșC by Saturday morning. A high of only 5ÂșC is in the forecast for Saturday, with some wet flurries coming our way.

By Sunday morning, there could be up to one centimetre of snow on the ground.

Sunday will be mainly sunny, but that sunshine won’t help the temperatures at all, and a high of 5ÂșC is expected again.

Sunday’s temperatures will drop to -4ÂșC overnight, and Monday brings a high of 3ÂșC with a mix of sun and clouds.

The forecast doesn’t show a break in the chilly weather until next Friday, when we’ll finally see double-digit temperatures again with a high of 10ÂșC predicted.

Let’s hope the temperature warms up a little more next weekend, so that we can take full advantage of patio season in Calgary.
