No need for an umbrella this weekend: Calgary weather is sticking to its guns with a summer sun shining through the smoky haze.
An air quality advisory is still in effect for the city, and residents are cautioned to spend as much time in air conditioned buildings as possible.
Anyone who does venture outside will be able to do so without that winter parka—at least for another few weeks. Saturday reaches a high of 27°, and Sunday will be at a comfortable 22°.
There may be hope for clear skies on Sunday, however, as Environment Canada has September 10 as sunny and clear, leaving out the local smoke it has stated for Saturday.
