Summer sun to return for an encore in Calgary this weekend

Sep 22 2017, 11:30 pm

Our Calgary summer may have waved us a not-so-fond farewell as it departed on Friday, but that doesn’t mean it took all the warm weather with it.

There will still be a lingering after-thought of sun sticking around – at least for Sunday, when temperatures will reach a high of 15°.

While it might not be beach-going weather, it will still be warm enough to wander outdoors without being fully clad in gloves, scarves, and the rest of that wintery wardrobe.

Just make sure to do so during the day, as it’s going to hit freezing at night.

Lows will be o°C on Friday, 1°C Saturday, and a cool 3°C on Sunday night heading into next week.

Some clouds will be spotted in the sky on Saturday, but everything clears up for a beautiful Sunday – so make that the day for any outdoor outings.

It goes without saying, but soak up as much sun as you can! ‘Cause as we all have heard by now, winter is on its way basically already here.
