Calgary weather this week will be calm and sunny after the storm

Anyone in Calgary bracing themselves for an 8eight-month long winter can put away that snow shovel and those extra pairs of socks.

While southern Alberta is currently experiencing a winter storm warning from Environment Canada, the worst is expected to pass by Monday evening, and after that it’s clear skies until the weekend.

Highs of 9°C should manage to thaw what snow remains on Tuesday, and a high of 21°C on Thursday will be enough to dry up any memory of snow.

Tuesday night may feel a bit cold, but it shouldn’t dip below freezing for the rest of the week.

A few clouds will dot the skies over the weekend, but for the most part this week looks clear, blue, and sunny – after Monday, that is.
