Buckle up, Calgary. It looks like we’re in for another weekend of wild weather.
According to The Weather Network, we’ll see temperatures range from near summertime highs of almost 20º to below 0ºC. Sadly, a little bit of the white fluffy stuff may be headed our way as well.
It’s 5ºC in Calgary right now, with mainly sunny skies continuing into the afternoon before reaching a high of 16ºC.

Overnight temperatures will drop to 0ºC, but Saturday is set to warm up to a balmy 19ºC. Make sure you get outside and enjoy the best of it with a bike ride, physically distanced gathering, or a meal with your household on one of the city’s local patios.
After a little sneak preview of summer weather, temperatures drop dramatically, with a high of 1ºC, feeling like -4ºC, on Sunday. The cold weather will be bringing some snow with it, and Calgarians can expect up to four centimetres by the end of the weekend.
Temperatures will continue to lower, and it’s predicted to be -4ºC overnight on Sunday.
It looks like the weather is going to vary just as much next week, with a high of 4ºC on Monday slowly rising to 9º on Tuesday, and then we’re back in the double digits at 14ºC on Wednesday.
After that, some more snow could be coming our way later next week, and one to three centimetres is expected on Thursday with a high of 2ºC that feels more like -2ºC.
Fingers crossed, the weather has sorted itself out by next weekend so that we can enjoy some more sunshine, classic Calgary patio beers, and maybe even put away our winter coats.
