Despite uncertainties around whether or not the Calgary Stampede will be able to put on the “Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth” this year, the Stampede Lotteries are back and better than ever in 2021.

The Stampede Lotteries have always been a big part of the July event, and after the pandemic threw a wrench in their plans last year, the Lotteries have returned with more than 100 prizes valued at over $2.2 million.

“After being forced to put our plans on hold in 2020, we were determined to make the 2021 Calgary Stampede Lotteries greater than ever,” Jason Azmier, Chair, Calgary Stampede Lotteries committee, said in a news release.

According to the news release, to celebrate 70 years of supporting local charities, this year’s Calgary Stampede Lotteries include the most valuable prizes ever offered.

The two-storey, 2,490 square foot Rotary Dream Home by Homes by Avi has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and comes with a bonus $100,000 cash.

Also introduced to the 2021 Stampede Lotteries is the new Kinsmen Lottery, which is worth more than a million dollars and features eight grand prizes, including:

  • 2021 GMC Sierra Denali 3500HD and 2021 Montana High Country 376FL fifth wheel trailer valued at $231,134
  • 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 2500 Crew Cab valued at $100,089
  • 2021 GMC Yukon Denali valued at $90,387
  • 2021 South Bay S222FCR 3.0 pontoon boat valued at $79,693
  • 2021 GMC Canyon Denali Crew Cab valued at $54,697
  • 2021 Indian Motorcycle Challenger valued at $36,224
  • 2021 Polaris RANGER XP 1000 side by side by ride command valued at $24,989
  • $100,000 cash

Along with the big-ticket items, there will be two Golden Tee golf games, one digital jukebox, two hot tubs, WestJet gift cards, and kayak packages up for grabs, among a number of other prizes.

Stampede Lotteries is also looking to give one lucky Albertan the chance to become a millionaire in July. Tickets for the Stampede Million 50/50 are on sale now, with a maximum jackpot of $2 million.

Ticket purchases support the Stampede and the Calgary community. In partnership with the Kinsmen Club of Calgary and the Rotary Club of Calgary, over $28 million has been shared with local charities in the past 10 years, directly benefitting thousands of people in the city.

“Purchasing a ticket makes a difference in the lives of so many people in our community at a time of great need,” said Azmier.

Stampede Lotteries Ticket Packages are currently available online for $50 to $150.
