Calgary’s extended period of optimal weather for outdoor activities is expected to last throughout the weekend until Monday.
Consecutive days of sunshine and warm temperatures reaching 24°C is what we can look forward to this week according to Environment Canada .
This could be the last of this year’s summer weather as early forecasts call for a drop in temperatures to the mid teens by mid next week.
Snow has already begun showing up in parts of Western Canada – in Calgary, Banff and at the upper elevations of Whistler over the weekend.
