Summer is finally here in Calgary.
…Okay, it’s not officially summer quite yet — that’s not until June 21 — but the warm weather, clear skies, and gorgeous views are all signs that the sunniest season of the year is basically on our doorstep.

The first few days of June echo this sentiment perfectly, according to Environment Canada, as they will be some of the hottest days that this city has seen for months.
Wednesday starts things off on a high note with sunshine and a high of 27°C. If you happen to be stuck in your office for the majority of that stunning day, no worries! You’ll have plenty of opportunities to soak up the sun this weekend as well.
But, before we get to that, we’ll face some more sunshine and highs of 25°C and 24°C, respectively, on Thursday and Friday.
We are definitely not complaining, even if it is a slight dip in temperature from earlier in the week.
Saturday shows up as a saviour with another high of 27°C and clear blue skies (as long as the smoke from up north doesn’t make its way down to YYC), and Sunday will follow suit with another high of 27°C — though there may be a few clouds in the sky.
Here’s hoping that this is just the first of many gorgeous weeks out here in Calgary… though we’d recommend making the absolute most of the week while you can, just in case!
