Snowy rain expected to hit Calgary tomorrow morning

May 16 2017, 10:01 pm

A snowy January May morning is what we could potentially be getting tomorrow, Calgary.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the mountains around Canmore and Kananaskis today and as such we might see a little of that over in the west end of Calgary.

No guarantee though.

“Snow or rain ending near noon then cloudy with 30 percent chance of rain showers,” reads Environment Canada’s forecast for Calgary on Wednesday.

We could get away with only rain, but don’t be too surprised if you do see some flakes.

As always with Calgary weather, there is a silver lining if you wait 5 minutes. Our weather will bounce back to warm spring temperatures on Friday when we’ll see a high of 18°C.
