
Calgary got hit with some snow and freezing temperatures recently, but a 25-degree temperature swing is forecast for the city this week.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the weather is set to bring some warmth with temperatures reaching 13°C over the weekend.
Before that, Monday’s temperatures are set to reach a high of -2°C, and an overnight low of -12°C with a chance of flurries, bringing the coldest temperature of the week.

The weather slightly picks up on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching a high of 2°C and a low of -8°C. Wednesday’s temperatures follow suit, with the daytime high reaching 2°C and the overnight low sitting at -2°C with periods of snow.
Thursday is a little chillier with the high reaching just 0°C, followed by an overnight low of -4°C with a chance of flurries.
Friday sees some nice heat with temperatures reaching 7°C during the day and an overnight low of just 4°C. Saturday brings the warmest temperature forecast, with daytime highs reaching 13°C, a whopping 25-degree temperature change from Monday’s overnight low of -12°C.

Overnight temperature will drop back down to 1°C, followed by Sunday’s daytime high of 8°C. According to ECCC, the average high for this time of year in Calgary is 8°C and the average low is -5°C.
