Calgary weather this weekend is grey, cold, and possibly snowy

Jan 26 2018, 4:30 am

Things are about to get gloomy in Calgary, people.

The warm weather we’ve been enjoying these past few weeks is on its way out, and the clouds are rolling on in ā€“ bringing a chance of snow with them, and the odds are not in our favour.

Saturday is the likeliest to see some snow, with a 60% chance of flurries throughout the night.

While Friday sees a mix of sun and clouds during the day, it won’t get any warmer than -8Ā°C, and the clouds are expected to take over as we head into a chilly -17Ā°C night.

That’s basically the state Calgary will be in for the next few days, with Sunday remaining cloudy, though without any snow in the forecast.

Friday night may take the gold medal for lowest expected temperature this weekend, but Saturday and Sunday tie for a close second with -16Ā°C expected on both nights.

Let’s all just hope for another chinook to save us from this deep freeze, shall we?

Oh, and in case you haven’t already heard,Ā please DO NOT leave your keys in your car to warm it up, or you may be walking to work.
