It's expected to be 18°C in Calgary this weekend

After a weekend of wind and cool temperatures, and a chilly start to the week, we’ve got some good news for you, Calgary.

Some warm weather is coming our way, according to The Weather Network, with almost summer-like temperatures in the forecast as we head towards the weekend.

It’s 0ºC in the city right now, feeling more like -2ºC, and a high of 6ºC is predicted this afternoon. Wednesday will be slightly nicer, with a high of 9ºC and sunny skies.

After that, you can expect the weather to warm up as the weekend gets closer. Sunshine is in the forecast until Sunday, and temperatures will continue to climb.

Thursday will see a high of 13ºC, dropping down to -2ºC overnight. Friday will dawn bright and sunny and could reach 14ºC.

Saturday is when things really heat up, with even more sunshine and a high of 18ºC offering a little summer teaser. Overnight temperatures will remain above 0ºC for the first time this week.

Sunday’s temperatures drop dramatically, and a high of 8ºC, feeling like 5ºC, is expected. The sunny streak comes to an end, and Calgary could get some rain as we finish off the weekend.

We’re not sure if the warm weather is here to stay yet, so make the most of it while you can, and get outside to soak up some rays this week.
