While the Calgary Stampede doesn’t officially start until the parade on Friday, everyone knows that just as much fun can be had the day before!

CALGARY – THE SUMMER EVENT! Stampede Edition

Kicking off Stampede season in Calgary, Dashing Date is holding its annual summer speed dating event on July 4, where you can saddle up and meet the cowgirl or cowboy of your dreams.

Do a little pre-Stampede to get you in the mood for the real deal as you help raise money for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation — a more than worthy cause! Enjoy live entertainment by Steel and Timber, Fireside Music, and DJ Chris Brennan, along with a live art show, door prizes, promotional giveaways, and both live and silent auctions with killer items that you’ll definitely want to get your hands on.

Calgary Dream Centre 5th Annual Stampede Breakfast

The Calgary Dream Centre and 88.9 Shine FM will be providing live music, arts and crafts, bouncy castles, and pancakes.

This year’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth will feature a Stranger Things Fun House, complete with a mirror maze that will take you through to the Upside Down. Attractions will also include a Stranger Slide, a Big Ferris Wheel, a monster-fied rideable spider, and a Strange Things-themed balloon pop game during the Stampede.
