No, this isn’t some sick, belated April Fools joke.
Snow is back on the forecast for YYC, with The Weather Network calling for upwards of 14 cm falling by next Monday.

The snow is preceded by a chance of showers on Thursday and mixed precipitation on Friday and Saturday, with 1-3 mm of rain expected on the 25th, 5-10 on the 26th, and around 1 mm on the 27th.
Sunday will see the most snow of the whole week, with around 5 cm expected to come down alongside a chilly -7°C low throughout the night.
Monday, April 29 will be much of the same, though with just 1-3 cm of snowfall and a low of -6°C.
While spring snows aren’t exactly rare in Calgary, the fact that we’ve been enjoying some relatively warmer days makes the incoming flakes much more devastating.
Here’s hoping that May is a little warmer, and little brighter, and entirely free of snowfall!
