We wouldn’t suggest breaking out the tank tops and shorts any time soon, but you may just be able to leave the mittens at home this week.
Calgary weather is expected to be sunny, warm, and – most surprising of all – consistent throughout the week… at least if you don’t count Monday.

While things may look a little dreary today (-16°C and a chance of flurries can do that, especially on a Monday) you need look no further than Wednesday to glimpse hope on the horizon.
Tuesday will be a mixed bag of sun, clouds, freezing, and somewhat less freezing, but it is only the eve of a sun streak that will last into the weekend.
Wednesday kicks things off with a sweltering high of 13°C and sunny, followed up by a clear night that won’t even dip below freezing. Thursday through Sunday will see the same clear skies and bright sun, though temperatures will cool off to around 5°C by the time we enter the weekend.
This may just be the last taste of summer left for 2017, so make sure to plan something special this Wednesday!
Especially before winter comes in full force, because it’s going to be a cold one.
