Calgary police seek public's help locating missing 14-year-old boy

The Calgary Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old boy.

Yonas Legese was last seen on Saturday, January 4, 2020, in the 4100 block of 13 Avenue NE.

According to police, he has not attended school and his family are concerned for his welfare.

Police describe Legese as black, approximately 5’2” tall and 120 pounds, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Adidas sweatpants, and black Nike Jordan hightop runners.

Legese is known to frequent the Village Square Leisure Centre, Marlborough Mall, and Sunridge Mall.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234.
