If you’re looking for a piece of Calgary history, a suite in a 114-year-old schoolhouse is up for sale for $1,345,000.
Located at 3650 2nd St. SW, the Parkhill schoolhouse was constructed in 1912. It was one of 25 schools built in the area between 1906 and 1913, as Calgary’s public school attendance rose from 1,911 in 1906 to 9,587 in 1914.

The Calgary Board of Education awarded the contract to builder J.A. McPhail for $17,500. It was designed by Toronto-based architects Ellis and Connery.
The building served as a school until 1977, when it was converted into offices, and in the late 1980s, it was sold and turned into condominiums. In 1993, it was converted into four exclusive residences.
