These five Calgary neighbourhoods are the most in-demand right now

If you’re on the hunt for a home in Calgary, you might want to act fast, as a new real estate report just revealed which neighbourhoods are the most in-demand. Some even have homes flying off the market in just two weeks.

Digital real estate platform Wahi just released its April 2026 report on the fastest- and slowest-selling neighbourhoods in the city with at least five sales.

Here are the six fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of April 2026:

  1. Mount Pleasant, with an average of 13 days on the market
  2. Parkland, with an average of 14 days on the market
  3. Mayland Heights, with an average of 15 days on the market
  4. Westgate, with an average of 15 days on the market
  5. Lake Bonavista, with an average of 15 days on the market

Mount Pleasant took the top spot on the list with homes selling in under two weeks. Last month, Cougar Ridge took the top spot with an average of 12 days on the market.

Lake Bonavista had the highest median sold price on the list at $1,033,770. On the other hand, Mayland Heights was the least expensive neighbourhood, with a median sold price of $425,000.

Wahi also revealed the slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary, with some neighbourhoods taking almost three months to sell homes.

Here are the six slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of March 2026:

  1. Eau Claire, with an average of 89 days on the market
  2. University District, with an average of 82 days on the market
  3. Cornerstone, with an average of 80 days on the market
  4. Pine Creek, with an average of 77 days on the market
  5. Country Hills Village, with an average of 75 days on the market

Eau Claire came in first place, with homes taking an average of 89 days to sell. Last month, Carrington took the top spot with homes taking an average of 72 days to sell.

While it made its way onto the slowest-selling neighbourhoods list, Country Hills Village was also the cheapest neighbourhood in the city as of April 2026, with a median sold price of just $240,000.
