Calgary has started getting greener as spring continues (PHOTOS)

It might take Calgary a little longer than other parts of the country to truly see spring, but it is quite beautiful once it arrives.

It has become clear that Calgary has been getting greener and greener as we march our way through May, with leaves returning to trees, flowers blooming, and the winter’s snow and ice completely melting away.

… That’s obviously not to say that a spring (or even summer) snowfall is a complete impossibility, but we’re going to enjoy the sunshine and greenery without thinking of such fates, thank you very much.

The city hasn’t entered full bloom quite yet, but the signs are all around that nature is waking back up from its long slumber.
