Winter doesn’t always have to be dark and cold.
Calgary’s own Glow Winter Festival will brighten up the season with three full days of lights and events this February 14 to 16, with a stunning array of lights and installations along Stephen Avenue.

The festival will include 35 musical artists performing across three outdoor stages, ice lounges that will be serving up some cold (and adult) beverages, a number of ice sculptors working to creating the most beautiful work of art, the chance to try out battle axe throwing, and an illuminated ice slide.

The festival will run from 4 to 10 pm on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15, and 4 to 7 pm on Sunday, February 16.
Not a bad way to kick off Valentine’s Day weekend — for free!
