It’s been a warm start to September in Calgary, but the forecast hints at a significant weather change on the way for our city soon.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the seven-day forecast is showing a serious cooldown as we hit the weekend, going from daytime highs in the mid-20s to more usual territory for this time of year.

A string of days filled with showers and rain is also on tap, with a drenched weekend and start to the upcoming work week in the forecast.
