Jan 20 2025, 5:54 pm

Calgary may have a light dusting of snow in some parts of the city; however, that won’t be the case for long, thanks to a major temperature swing in the forecast.

We may have just shivered through a cold weekend, but according to the seven-day forecast from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), things are warming up.

The current conditions at the Calgary International Airport this morning were a brisk -19°C, but temperatures are rising throughout the day, with daytime highs hovering around -2°C during the work week. Temperatures will shoot up, with Sunday’s forecast hitting a gorgeous 11°C.

When you do the math between the temperatures Calgary is currently experiencing and Sunday’s daytime high, it’s a roller coaster with a difference of 30 degrees.
