foodora, for the uninitiated, is an on-demand food delivery service that already operates in 65 cities across the globe, and now, Calgary can count itself among them.

The food delivery service is already among the top delivery services in Canadian cities including Toronto, Montreal, and most recently Vancouver, and as of today its available in Edmonton and Calgary too.

“foodora has been working hard over the past few years to provide fast and fresh delivery to Canadians and we are excited to expand our service even further into Calgary and Edmonton,” says David Albert, Managing Director, foodora Canada in a press release. “We look forward to bringing even more restaurants on the platform in the coming weeks and providing users with convenient access to popular food spots and world-class delivery.”

While the plan is to deliver food from over 50 curated restaurant partners in each city, for now Calgarians can order from Po-ke, Meat & Bread, Freshii, and Würst, and to celebrate its launch, the company is offering free delivery on all foodora orders for the first few months of operations.
